Thanks to scientist Barbara Chambers, Star Wars Technology has come of age in the form of a super laser satellite. She is not proud of her efforts though, and pays dearly for them. Her activist sister, Camy Chambers is not proud of her either and lives to save the planet from "man's" destructive nature. On the other hand, the President of the United States is very interested in the project and has appropriated it for the purpose of ridding the world of all nuclear weapons. But, the absence of weapons of mass destruction do not fit into the master plan of a hawkish state official who also moonlights as a defense contractor. So, the President must be eliminated. Now, add in fast pace storytelling, exciting backdrops such as Brazil's rain forest and New York City, along with soldier of fortune and patriot, Sam Stone, a hard man to love but in such desperate need of it, and you have the high voltage blockbuster, Star Blaster!
THEMES: Good conquers over evil, power corrupts, and we all have a vested interest in saving the planet.
This screenplay has mass appeal as well as a definite target audience: teens and young adults.
